Dr. Matthew Holahan

Originally from New England, Dr. Holahan came to Michigan to attend college and decided to make it his home. He graduated from Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2009. After practicing emergency medicine for 2 years, he completed a neurology internship in southern Connecticut before returning to Michigan for a 4 year residency in neurology/neurosurgery at Dogwood.

Dr. Holahan completed his residency in 2016 and also became a Board-Certified Veterinary Neurologist. His primary interests include intervertebral disc disease, seizure disorders, head trauma, inflammatory nervous system disorders, and tumors of the nervous system.

Dr. Jared B. Galle

A native of the Mississippi Gulf Coast, Dr. Galle graduated from Mississippi State University in 1999. He then completed a small animal internship at the University of Tennessee, followed by a three-year neurology/neurosurgery residency at Auburn University. After completing his residency and receiving board certification with the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine in 2003, Dr. Galle moved to Metro Detroit and has practiced locally until co-founding Dogwood Veterinary Referral Center in 2011.

Dr. Galle is a Board-certified Veterinary Neurologist. His primary interests include intervertebral disk disease, spinal trauma, wobbler syndrome, inflammatory brain disease, and developmental brain abnormalities (hydrocephalus and Chiari malformation).

Dr. Andrew Isaacs

A native of the Eastern Shore of Maryland, Dr. Isaacs graduated from Iowa State University in 2001. He then completed a small animal internship at Auburn University and stayed on for a three-year neurology/neurosurgery residency. After completing his residency and receiving board certification with the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine in 2005, Dr. Isaacs moved to Metro Detroit and has practiced locally until co-founding Dogwood Veterinary Referral Center in 2011.

Dr. Isaacs is a Board-certified Veterinary Neurologist. His primary interests include intervertebral disk disease, seizure management, luxations/fractures of the spine, and surgery for brain tumors.
